20081219_01_ph01Hi All,

Yes, Mr. Wiegand was a very dedicated teacher and a fine man. I had him as my English and History teacher in ’51 and ’52. He was a tough but very fair teacher. I was a typical young high school wise guy kid at the time and he knew exactly how to handle me and it also allowed me to learn. I gained a great deal of respect for him during that time and certainly appreciated all he did as a teacher for us.

I know that God will place him as one of his top teachers in his High School upstairs and have him again teach those students who need it even in Heaven.

I also feel that Mr. Wiegand is watching over all of his former students down here on earth!!

Best personal regards to all of you and I want to extend to you a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!

Class of ’52
Donald P. Baumann
