International Schools to Hold Get-Together in Newark and in D.C.

SUNDAY APRIL 30, 2006 IN NEWARK, DELAWARE
AND MAY 1, 2006 IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

NEWARK, DELAWARE
Name: Hong Kong China Buffet
Place: Four Seasons Plaza
Directions:
From I-95, take exit 1A on I-95 in Delaware. This is Rt. 896
south. Go to third stop light and take a right, and an immediate right
into the shopping center. There is a Super Fresh grocery store there.
Go past the store and go to the left hand corner of the shopping center.

If you are coming from Rt. 40, take Rt. 896 north, and at the second
stop light take a left – same directions as above.

From south Delaware, take Rt. 1 to Rt. 896 north, and after Rt. 40 see
directions above.

Time: 12:00 noon on Sunday, April 30.
We can stay there until 3:00 – 4:00 P.M.

Cost: You have two choices. They have a buffet for $10.00 or a la carte,
that goes up to $20.00. So take your pick when you get there.
Ask for the Japan Reunion group.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
Name: Mayflower Hotel, Town & Country Bar
Place: Connecticut Ave. & L Street, NW
Directions: Take Metro to Farragut North (on Red line) Use “L Street”
exit and the hotel is on the same block.
If you take the Blue/Orange line, get off at Farragut West,
and the hotel is a block north of Farragut Square.

Time: 3:00 – 5:30 P.M. on Monday, May 1.
Join the group at your convenience for drinks and conversation
before dinner.
5:30 early dinner in Chinatown, Restaurant to be determined (by April 7)
7:00 Move to another hotel lounge for more conversation (e.g., Sofitel
across from the White House or Hyatt Grand at H and 10 Sts, NW.)

Cost: About $25.00 for the dinner. Drinks are up to you.

Other events could be scheduled depending on number of attendees.

Julio Rangel, Tako Mashkoftseff (’52), Arthur Sato (’53), George de
Couto (’52) and Jack Nakano (’51) are coming from the West Coast.

NEEDED: Your RSVP so we can get a head count for the Delaware and DC
reunions. So please specify which or both of the reunions you can attend.
